MBAGATHI HOSPITAL LAUNCHES NEW OPTICAL SHOP
Mbagathi County Referral Hospital today officially opened a new Optical Shop, fully funded by Sightsavers, marking another milestone in expanding access to quality eye-care services.
The continued partnership between Mbagathi and Sightsavers has supported various initiatives, with approximately KSh 15 million invested through equipment donations and operational support, including the new Optical Shop.
The launch was graced by Sande Oyolo County Chief Officer Health Facilities, Nairobi City County, as Chief Guest, alongside Moses Chege, Country Director, Sightsavers Kenya, and Dr. Monica Bitok, Head of Ophthalmic Services Unit, Ministry of Health, The Hospital C.EO Dr.Alex Irungu,Med.Sup Dr.Erica Koima and Head of Department Dr.Muguche and other members of staff
Mbagathi appreciates Sightsavers for the continued partnership and commitment to better healthcare for Nairobi as envisioned by H.E Gov. Sakaja’s support towards achievement of specialized healthcare services in Nairobi.
