GROUND BREAKING OF MODERN DIABETES CARE UNIT AT MBAGATHI HOSPITAL IN PARTNERSHIP WITH NOVO NORDISK

Mbagathi County Referral Hospital, in partnership with Novo Nordisk, is constructing a modern Diabetes Care Unit aimed at enhancing pediatric and adult diabetes management, staff capacity building through training, research & referral services.

The project is funded through a grant from Novo Nordisk, a multinational brand in pharmaceutical products which will cater for the construction and medical equipment.

The Novo Nordisk team visited the site today and was received by the Hospital Management team led by the CEO, Dr.Alex Irungu reaffirming the shared commitment to improving diabetic care and patient outcomes.
