NAIROBI GOVERNOR H.E. JOHNSON SAKAJA VISITS MBAGATHI HOSPITAL TO ASSESS HEALTH SERVICE DELIVERY

Nairobi City County Governor, H.E. Johnson Sakaja, today made a working visit to Mbagathi Hospital, accompanied by the County Executive Committee Member for Health, Wellness and Nutrition,Miss Suzanne Silantoi and the Chief Officer in the Office of the Governor, Miss Princilla Mahinda.

The delegation was warmly received by the Hospital’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Alex Irungu, and Medical Superintendent, Dr. Erica Koima, alongside other members of the hospital staff.

Mbagathi Hospital has unveiled a newly acquired Abbott machine, a cutting-edge technology that will greatly improve blood screening services across Nairobi City County.

The advanced equipment delivers faster and more accurate blood grouping and compatibility testing, ensuring safer transfusions, better preparedness for elective procedures, and enhanced emergency response in county health facilities.
