SAFARICOM FOUNDATION KIND DONATIONS

Mr.Edward Okaro of Safaricom Foundation Board based in S.Africa, Mr. James Ludcow of Safaricom/Vodafone, UK and Mr. Mutembei Safaricom, Kenya visited Mbagathi County Hospital for a follow-up meeting on establishing a Maternal & Child Health Centre of Excellence. They donated Mama Dignity Packs to maternity patients and were warmly received by the Hospital CEO Dr. Alex Irungu, alongside Medical Superintendent,Dr Ericah Koima and head of Clinical Services Dr. Beatrice Mwangi, NSM Lynette Kinara, and staff.

CEO OFFICIAL VISIT

The CEO of Mbagathi County Referral Hospital Dr. Alex Irungu , paid a courtesy call to Dr. Ouma Oluga, Principal Secretary for Medical Services, at Afya House. The visit aimed to strengthen collaboration and seek strategic support from national government institutions and programs to enhance healthcare service delivery at Mbagathi County Referral Hospital.

EQUITY DELEGATION VISIT

Equity delegation led by Joseph Mbai, EBS, General Manager – Health Sector, paid a courtesy call to Mbagathi County Hospital to extend CSR support. They were warmly received by The CEO Dr. Alex Irungu, Med supt Dr ericah and other executive team . Also present was Chief Officer for Health Facilities,Mr Ibrahim Otieno who expressed appreciation to the team’s efforts on implementing H.E Gov Sakaja’s manifesto. The visit underscored Equity’s commitment to strengthening healthcare services in Nairobi.

CEO VISIT NAIROBI WEST HOSPITAL

Dr. Alex Irungu, CEO of Mbagathi County Hospital, paid a courtesy call to Nairobi West Hospital to seek CSR support and explore a strategic partnership.The discussions focused on partnering in the operationalization of the Nairobi County Cancer Diagnostic and Treatment Center, a key initiative aimed at expanding access to quality cancer care and strengthening Nairobi’s public healthcare system.
