We offer X-Ray to people of all ages in various parts of the human body for diagnosis eg;

  • Abdominal X-Ray which shows images of the stomach, liver, kidneys, bladder etc.

EYE UNIT

EYE UNIT

This clinic is run by Ophthalmologists who treat eye ailments and infections, foreign body removals and visual acuity tests.

We also conduct cataract surgeries, Most cataracts develop in adults, but  occasionally  they may occur in infants and young children or as a result of trauma or medications. Cataract symptoms include blurred vision, difficulty focusing on nearby objects or when reading, glare sensitivity, increased sensitivity to sources of glare such as headlights while driving at night, altered color perception, bright colors may appear muted and less vivid than usual and reduced visual clarity for close activities like sewing or reading may require more light than before.

NEW BORN UNIT/NEO-NATAL INTENSIVE CARE UNIT

Newborn babies who need intensive medical care are often put in a special area of the hospital called the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Mbagathi Hospital through the Governor Johnson Sakaja and Chief Officer Health Facilities Mr. Geoffrey Mosiria has recently established a NICU with  four beds, 48 incubators  and a four-bed infectious unit located inside the Mbagathi maternity wing.

Most babies admitted to the NICU are preterm (born before 37 weeks of pregnancy), have low birth weight (less than 1.5 Kilograms), or have a health condition that needs special care.

RENAL UNIT

We have a fully equipped Renal Unit which is run by highly trained Medics, it provides hemodialysis for both in and outpatients with chronic or acute kidney disease.
Each patient undergoes two dialysis sessions per week.

PAEDIATRIC DEPARTMENT

The Pediatric unit caters for children aged above 1month to 13years. It consists of pediatric out patient section and pediatric medical ward.
We serve children who requires critical care and emergency medicine, those with endocrinology and metabolic disorders, gastroenterology, nutrition and infectious diseases etc.
